Half-ton Truck and Logging Truck Collided

A half-ton truck and logging truck collided on a corner while travelling on a Company road (Grandmother Hill). The driver of the half-ton had left the worksite and was travelling home when he collided with an in-bound logging truck. Both vehicles collided on the driver’s side. The logging truck sustained minor damage and the half-ton was extensively damaged. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident.

Recommendations to Prevent a Recurrence

Slow down and drive appropriately for road conditions. Do not rely on communication devices to indicate on-coming traffic.
