Truck Loses Load on Corner

Hazard Alert

Drive Defensively

The driver of a loaded log truck travelling on Route 325 to Oakhill Sawmill reported he swerved to the side of the road to avoid hitting an on-coming white vehicle that had crossed the centre line. The truck and trailer turned over in the ditch, spilling its load on a lawn. No one was injured; however, there was some property damage. The weather was clear and the road was dry. The driver reported he was going under the speed limit.

Recommendations to Prevent a Recurrence

Be aware of on-coming hazards. Drive defensively at all times.
